Special Seminar for Women Workers (2 Day)

In this era of equality, women have progressed and have proved to be second to none. They have entered into almost all the fields of employment and mostly so in the unorganized sector. However the contribution of women are not sufficiently recognized. There is a need for empowering women in our country. The Board conducts 2 days Special seminar for women workers aiming at women empowerment.

The objective of this programme is to educate and motivate the women workforce through dialogic process, to equip, appreciate and analyse their socio- economic problems and enable them to find solutions to their problems through organized action by forming Self Help Groups.

 

Participants

Women working in unorganized / rural sectors..

Self Help Group members.

 

Criteria Conditions
Total no. of Participants 40 Women
Age group between 18-45

 

At the end of the 2 day of the programme, each participant will be paid a sum of @ Rs 200 per day through Direct Debit Transfer in the respective accounts of the participants.

Based on the Problems identified the Education Officer prepares  the topics to be discussed. The Education Officer of CBWE conducts sessions on the required topics. In addition to this experts from the respective fields / Govt. officials from the pertaining departments viz.  Women Development Corporation, Women Commission, Family Planning Association, Doctors from Govt. Hospitals [to conduct health camps] etc. are also invited to deliver talks and interact with the participants.
